While developing a traditional counseling business, I realized the limitations of insurance and talk therapy. During this time, I trained in psycho-calisthenic and bioenergetic breathing exercises. These exercises bring the body into alignment while reducing pain and tension in the muscles. Relaxed muscles allow blood to flow more easily through the body. The exercises also increase lung capacity, which allows more oxygen to get into the body. This approach goes beyond traditional counseling because it provides a method for processing feelings in the body and moving through them more effectively.
